About The Adelphi Theatre

The Adelphi theatre sits on the famous Strand in the heart of London's West End. The art deco façade looks unassuming enough but appearances can be deceptive – it seats an impressive 1500 or so audience members over three different levels. Because the venue is right in the centre of the theatre district there's plenty to do before and after the show including excellent restaurants, clubs, bars and cafes. Brilliant special effects
Absolutely fantastic, the whole show was amazing, especially the special effects and characters.

Builds to a wonderful finish
We attended with our grandson who didn’t know the story/ hadn’t watched the films. Turns out it makes no difference to whether you enjoy the show. It is very faithful to the film and uses some clever staging to deliver the key elements. I found some of the sound was indistinct in the first act but this was sorted by act two which was a really enjoyable piece of theatre.
